General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,

You may want to consider checking her bedding and cupboards carefully to see if you notice any bugs, this furniture may also need to be treated.

A topical ointment such as hydrohist, that contains a mixture of a mild steroid such as hydrocortisone and also an antihistamine, would be helpful to decrease her itching.

An oral antihistamine can also be used as well. You should consider speaking to someone who can let you know about the insects that are specific to your area.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
