I injured my finger in november when I plugged in a mixer and was no aware it was on two of my fingers were hit hard. I did not go see a Doctor the pain got better, now I have two hard lumps on my fingers that ache one lump is bigger than the other and is painful. Is it possible my fingers were broken is it too late to do anything about the throbbing bump?
It is not possible to have the breaking of fingers after a period of time of injury. The bumps may be post-injury inflammatory changes or so forth which has to be evaluated by thorough clinical examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
