What Causes Lung Congestion And Fatigue While Having Sleep Apnea?

My dentist alerted me that my oxygen level was89 so they gave me oxygen during procedure. I ordered my own sensor and it is around 90-93. I have sleep apnea....I have a feeling of slight lung congestion. I live at about 500 feet elevation here in Seattle Was ....but have a house at 3800 feet elevation and felt very fatigued while there last September...any ideas?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you havelung congestion and fatigue while having sleep apnea . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query but in your case the symptoms are due to aleep apnea . These are very common symptoms of sleep apnea . I would suggest you to consult doctor and get sleep study test after advice of doctor without any delay , because sometimes sleep apnea can lead to cardiac arrest in severe cases . Doctor may recommend CPAP machine after sleep study . I would also suggest you to losse your weight and do light exercises daily . Doctor may also refer you to chset specialist for proper checkup for chest or lung infection .
