What Causes Lung Infection Despite Pneumonia?

I have had a lung infection for a month now. I am on my third round of antibiotics and as soon as they are done it comes back. They just checked for pneumonia but did not call so I am assuming it is not that. What is going on. I am not a smoker nor do I have asthma.

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Lung infection sometimes need 4-6 weeks of antibiotics to get settle.
I would suggest you to have a repeated chest Xray. Sputum microscopy for AFB and sputum for culture and sensitivity.
I would be in a better position to help you if you provide me reports of these investigations.
Hope it helps best.
