What Causes Lymph Node Swelling And Fluid In The Ear With Tonsil Infection?

Hi I am suffering from tonsil infection and had fever for about 3 days. I m taking anti biotic (amoxicillin) but it started effecting too late. Now, i think i have fluid in my left ear, nose block, and, a swollen part on the right back side of my neck. Can you please at least give me some hints about what might have happened. BTW I am 16.
