Incomplete data like age, gender, history of present illness, etc not given. Lymphangio sarcoma is a rare malignant soft tissue tumor that arises from vascular channels of soft tissues in limbs with chronic lymph-edema.
Its exact cause is unknown however, it is more commonly seen in females as it is commonly associated with post-mastectomy lymph-edema of the upper limbs. Other causes include primary congenital lymph-edema, trauma, filarial lymph-edema, radiation, extensive fibrosis and recurrent or chronic infection.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
