What Causes Malodorous Vaginal Bleeding After The Abortion?

I ahve an abortion last april 13 2010 but ubtil now i always been even if its not my period almost evryday that's why i use panty liners...and i observed that the blood has a foul odor..is it normal?and if i have my menstruation bloos is very heavy and produces bad odor..what shoul i do?
