What Causes Measles Look Alike Itchy Rashes On The Body?

I have a rash that looks just like measles. its itches, I ve had a fever. went to the emergency room. they said I had an allergic reaction to something and that I should see an dermatologist. I asked if they d tested me for measles? the doctor said they don t test. all of my blood and urine test were fine. what should I do?

Hello,

Measles is unlikely as it is a disease of children and the rashes first appear in the mouth. Possible causes like allergic eruptions must be excluded.
