What Causes Memory And Vision Problems For A Dyslexic And Bipolar Patient?

Hi, my father is Dislexic and is bi-polar. He has a hard time remembering simple conversations or instructions. He is only 46 but I am worried it's something serious. We have a history of diabetes and his vision is questionable. He has little specks of something floating in his vision. What does all of this mean? Is it something we should get checked out?

I think first he should see an endocrynologist to re-evaluate the diabetis and an oculist also. As for the memory maybe is for the fact that the bipolar persons are a little distracted and so he doesn't pay much attention at things and conversations.
