What Causes Memory Loss And Excessive Sleepiness?

My husband is acting weird, Yesterday he couldn t remember anything I told him, and was doing odd things, and saying things that were not part of our conversation. He also will fall asleep in a drop of a hat. Just found him at his computer asleep, kids went to the neighbors he didn t know.

Hello,

Memory loss and excessive sleepiness may be due to exhaustion from work or sleep apnea or narcolepsy or restless leg syndrome or anaemia etc.

Infection or electrolyte imbalance or hypothyroidism may also present like this. Please get haemoglobin, electrolyte, blood pressure, CT brain and polysomnography.

Consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
