What Causes Memory Loss, Voice Stuttering And Difficulty In Walking?

Hi, I m a counsellor at a school and a student I have been working with is in the hospital. I saw her today and she has some significant memory loss (eg. only remembers one of her siblings, can t remember who her mom s friends are, or her grandparents, etc). She also is relearning how to speak and has a severe stutter. She cannot remember how to walk. She has been experiencing exclusion at school. Could this be a result of stress/anxiety?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The narrated symptoms of memory loss, voice shuttering and difficult walking does not co relate with stress or anxiety. Rather an insult of central nervous system blood circulation with transient ischemic attack or else is responsible possibly. She needs an MRI brain for causative evaluation and further guidelines ahead.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
