What Causes Menstrual Cycle After A Gap Of 10 Years?

I have stopped having period for over ten years but it seems to be starting again, two weeks ago I saw bright red blood though not flowing for three days and it stopped, today I have seen blood again not flowing but when I wipe myself I can see it. What is the reason for this, it feels like a period not in pain or anything. Please let me know the explanation for this. Will appreciate your views.

With the limited history sounds like post menopausal bleeding. It is not normal. Various conditions may cause this some of them are more serious than others. (polyps, endometrial atrophy/hyperplasia, uterine cancer). You need to be evaluated by a GYN doc. They will examine you and perform a series of test (blood work, vaginal u/s, hysteroscopy, biopsy-D&C).
