What Causes Menstrual Cycle To Be 18 Days?

I am 42 years of age. had a miscarriage in Dec 2010 (7weeks) and a D&C.

have been off birth control for 4 years. always had regular periods, we are trying to fall pregnant again. Suddenly started having a 18day cycle. is this reason to be concerned?
