What Causes Menstrual Delay?

I had my periods on 4th March after which i had unprotected sex and then had an I pill . I had my next periods on 8th April which is 6 days overdue....i had unprotected sex after my periods in april and then took i pill again. I have still not got my periods and pregnancy test is negative. please advise.
