General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The PCOS is a definite concern to cause hormone imbalance in terms of progesterone and estrogen.

And that is the reason of delaying menses, there is nothing to worry.

Continue the medications for a period of varying 4-6 months, get an intermittent regular evaluation with ultrasound.

If later on the condition is annoying, discuss the need of laparoscopic management of ovarian cysts via drilling or else.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
