What Causes Menstrual Irregularities While Having PCOD?

Hi , I m suffering from PCOD ,my doctor consulted to use regestrone.it is working fine,bt this i took medicine from 1 to 5th nov and didn t have periods yet,its 12th today,and i have pain in my body,i feel tired(all symptoms)but no bleeding,what should i do.and how long should i wait?

Hello,

The delay of the periods is very common with the PCOS and very likely this is the case with you but to be safe, the first thing to rule out when periods are delaying is pregnancy. I would recommend you to have a pregnancy test and if it is negative repeat it in 2-3 days.

If the pregnancy test remains negative then it is likely it is related to PCOS and if your periods do not come in the next 2-3 weeks you will need to see your doctor.
