What Causes Menstrual Pain During Sexual Activity?

I have been having menstral pains to the point I ve been in the hospital. Although my last period lasted two days and was extremely light. It s painful during sexual activity, and I just need to know what s going on with me, I have also been urinating more frequently. Can you give me an answer?

Dear; thanks for using our service. It could be that your have an urinary track infection and that irritates the pelvic area .Other possibility is endometriosis, which is an inflammation of the endometrium which is the membrane that covers the pelvic area. You need a pelvic exam and ultrasound in order to have better information of what is happening. Pelvic inflammatory disease secondary to clamydia is another possibility.
