What Causes Menstruation On For 2 Days After A D&C Procedure?

Hi, I had a D&C for a missed miscarriage on December 19, 2014. I was 13 weeks, 5 days pregnant, but the baby s heart had stopped at 12 weeks. I just had my first period on Thursday, January 22 and it only lasted for 2 days. Is this normal? My period used to last between 4-6 days before surgery. Also, will I definitely ovulate this month? And do my chances of getting pregnant increase after this procedure or do my chances of miscarriage increase? My husband and I are ready to try again. Thanks for your help! -Katie
