What Causes Metallic Taste In Mouth After Taking Tindamax?

I was prescribed Tindamax 4 tabs today and 4 tomorrow for bacterial vaginosis. I took my forst 4 pills almost 5 hours ago and the awful metallic taste in my mouth will not go away. I have drank a ton of water and it has been no help. What is causing this and how long can it last?
