Anesthesiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptom of shortness of breath on exertion most likely be related to any heart problem like
1) Left heart failure
2) Congestive heart failure

Please do have a 2 dimensional echocardiography to evaluate your heart functioning. Regarding other symptoms of metallic taste, numbness of extremities and mixing up of sentences may be signs of aura or focal aware signs of temporal lobe epilepsy. Kindly consult a neuro-physician regarding the aforementioned symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
