What Causes Metallic Taste In The Mouth After Taking Aspirin?
I had surgery three weeks ago and have a small blood clot in my left calf. I'm going to start on blood thinners tomorrow but currently I am just taking aspirin. Today my leg aches some but I have a metallic taste in my mouth and feel extremely tired out. Could this be related? I'm not n any medication.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of metallic taste in the mouth after taking Aspirin which is one of the most common side effect of taking it.
Need not to worry about it. Use sugar free mint gums. Mainly bad taste goes away in some weeks. Drink plenty of water and lime juices. Put few drops of lime on tongue to stimulate taste buds. If your symptoms keeps on persisting visit your doctor to get your medication changed. Your symptoms will resolve soon.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
