What Causes Metallic Taste In The Mouth And Lightheadedness?

I have a taste of metal in my mouth and I am light headed constantly. Can you tell me what could cause this? Is there a connection between the two? A couple of weeks ago I had my ears pierced with titanium studs. My ears have had no problems, not the slightest bit red or sore. Is there a connection?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The metallic taste can be secondary to pus discharge because of the gum or tooth infection. The other possible cause can be secondary to use of antibiotics like metronidazole. The light headedness has nothing to do with metallic taste.
So consult a general physician and oral physician and get it evaluated.
I hope i have answered your query. Take care
