What Causes Metallic Taste In The Mouth While On Protonix?
I HAVE BEEN ON PROTONIX FOR APPROX 3 MONTHS. LESIONS ON MY STOMACH & lmphocytic COLITIS as well as SMALL AMOUNT OF Intestinal dysplasia I WAS TOLD NOT TO WORRY ABOUT AT THIS TIME. I HAVE RECENTLY BEGAN HAVING A METAL TASTE IN MY MOUTH, VERY NERVOUS FEELING, JOINT PAIN AND RESTLESS SLEEP. LEGS ACHE AT NIGHT. I M WONDERING IF I AM HAVING A SIDE EFFECT FROM MEDICATION.

are you taking any drug like metronidazole with the drug you mention? metronidazole can cause Metallic taste but protonox doesn't cause this.
