What Causes Mid Cycle Bleeding?

Gyno Question. I have PCOS not overweight, but on glucophage 500. irregular cycles, tried to conceive with clomid 50, didnt get period until used Duphaston from CD17-CD24. Got pregnant on 4th month of Clomid. Had a miscarriage at 6wks. Three months later, now, trying to get pregnant again cycles were 42days for the 3 months not trying, started on Clomid 50 and had Androcur for 10 days due to high DHEA by CD16 started spotting, CD20 bleeding started, been on Duphaston since spotting started, but doesnt seem to help the spotting to stop. I have never experienced midcycle bleeding before, what could be the cause? My doctor suggested trying Clomid 100 on next cycle if I am not pregnant this cycle.

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Midcycle bleeding can be due to implantation bleeding or due to hormonal disturbances.
I would suggest you to wait for the periods, if delayed then do get a urine pregnancy test to confirm the diagnosis.
If negative, then you should get your hormonal profile including thyroid hormone levels checked and get a ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
