What Causes Mid Cycle Periods To Become Shorter?

Hi. I was just wondering why my period is getting shorter. I have had a regular cycle (35 days) since I was 12. I am now 22. These last few months or so my cycle has gone down to 30 days, up to 34 days and now down to about 28 days. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
