What Causes Mid Right Sided Back Pain Causing Difficulty In Breathing?

My husband has had pain in his mid right side in back for a long time. He has seen a kidney doctor, lung doctor, family doctor, internist, had Xrays and CTscans. They all say they don t know and just give him pain meds that don t work. We don t know who to call or what to do. He says it hurts to breathe and he cant lay on it. It is becoming debilitating. Any advice on who to see?

Hello,

I think he may need to visit a rheumatologist now. Having visited a nephrologist, pneumologist, Internist and all say that nothing is wrong then the pain may be related to rheumatological issue. Arthritis may be causing the pain.
