What Causes Migraine And Sleeplessness After Taking Betacap-Tr?
i have been prescribed with betacap tr 40 mg for blood pressure and migraine . i am 42 years old female, about 60 kgs weight . i have bp for past 6 months. at first i was given lorvas 2.5 mg, but yesterday it was changed ( in order to combat migraine ) to betacap tr 40 mg. i could not sleep the entire night .,which did not happen with lorvas. what to do , doctor?yesterday, bp was 120/80.

It can a side offect of the drug definitly jn which case it can be easily switched to another antihypertensive which would be more tolerable in ur case. For that a more detailed history would be required as there are tons of medications for high bp but indivisuals may benifet more from one drug as compared to another one. Depends on age, race, ur blood pressure, and other diseases. Keeping all that in mind i m sure you can get another antihypertensive drug that wojld cause no troubles for u.
