What Causes Mild Bleeding Around The Circumcised Area?
I was circumcised a week ago, one side is healing well, however the other side the stitches seem a lot looser and i can actually see into the wound. Also it is rather smelly but theres no puss or yellowness. Just mild bleeding every now and then, and very sensitive. Does this sound normal?
noted history of bleeding on post-circumcision site. is the bleeding dark or bright red in color? it is best if you do a follow-up consultation with your surgeon for physical examination and clinical evaluation. mild inflammation or swelling is normal, but hematoma formation and active bleeding must be ruled-out. management will be directed accordingly. a direct finger pressure for 5-10minutes straight may help control the bleeding. if it persists, consult an ER doctor or follow-up early with your surgeon.
hope this helps.
good day!!
