What Causes Mild Bleeding During Periods While Having Fibroid In Uterus?

I have a fibroid on my uterus, but I do not have heavy bleeding when I have my period. I just bleed a little for two days. I read that many women have heavy bleeding, and wonder if there is a reason that I do not? I have pressure in my rectum and acid reflux. Is this normal?

Hi,

Rectal pressure must have been caused by the bulky uterus and resultant pressure.
Do dietary changes for hyperacidity like small frequent meals, avoid tea, coffee, spices and junk and be physically active.
Irregular bleeding are more common in fibroids as compared to heavy bleeding. Hope that you have normal thyroid levels.
Your gynecologist might procure an endometrial biopsy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
