What Causes Mild Cramps , Lower Back Pain And Brownish Discharge?

I ve had brownish discharge for a couple of day now gone to a rusty colour but only there when I wipe after using the toilet, I m having some mild cramping and slight lower back pain, I m not due on for another week, could this be a early start to my period or something else

Hi,

Thanks for writing to us.

Brown discharge can be due to so many causes.

It can be normal sometimes and can be due to your impending period.
Other most common causes it can be due to implantation bleeding, vaginal infection, STD, polyp,hormonal disturbances and endometriosis.

In your case the most probable cause is hormonal imbalance.
Just watch on it if it continues then please consult your gynaecologist and rule out the cause.
