Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you granddaughter have symptoms of low grade fever, bumps on tongue and flushed face which is because of viral infection. It could be due to poor immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with Ibuprofen for fever and take proper rest. Take diet rich in plenty of fluids. Avoid cold carbonated drinks. You should take take multivitamin supplement, containing Vit.C, B complex and magnesium to help with muscle stiffness and fatigue. Your symptoms will resolve in one week. Till then have rest and visit general physician once and get it examined. start with proper course of antiviral drugs after prescription. Avoid spicy food.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
