What Causes Mild Pain And Discomfort In The Scrotum?
Hello, i developed some wierd feeling in my left testicle, its not directly in the testicle but above it under the skin and begining of scrotum, i can not say its pain but maybe a little disomfort i feel if i was touched in that area accidently or when my jeans press on that area, also i noticed my sperm volume decreases and my erections arent that strong usualy, anything i should worry about? I am 36yrs old
Hi Thanks for posting your query on HCM It is something to be worried about but not to be too worried.Testicular discomfort could be caused by many medical conditions. But testicular discomfort with no pain and no history of tauma or swelling and associated with low semen volume and weak erection is most likely caused by varicocele.Varicocele being enlargement of veins in the scrotum. It is not a life threatening condition but may cause discomfort, sexual and fertility problems if neglected.Other causes of mild pain and testicular disconfort even though less like to be the cause of your problem are: epiddimytis, orchitis, hydrocele, testicular mass, undescended tested...I will advise you see a Urologist to evaluate you and prescribe the necessary investigations that will lead to getting the exact diagnosis. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
