Hi, thanks for asking us at Healthcare Magic.
Since you said there may be muscle training activities, then the possibility is you might had injury to the calf muscles.
This condition also is a possible sign of any anatomy disturbances such us
tendinitis, Baker's cyst or
deep vein thrombosis, with other signs like:
1. Skin color change
2. Burning sensation in the calf
3. Decreased mobility
4. Joint pain
5. Muscle
foot cramps especially at night and can interfere with sleep
6. Swelling
Perform the following steps as home remedies:
1. Immediately rest
2. Cold compress on the affected part
3. Massage on tight muscles can also be done.
In addition, warm water compresses also help to relieve cramps.
4. If you feel pain, you can use
diclofenac. Take Zorvolex on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. (Make sure you are not allergic to it)
5. Consumption of foods rich in
magnesium and drink plenty of water.
If this has not helped to ease your cramps, you should meet your doctor for further examination.
Thank you and take care.
