What Causes Mild Pain In The Sternum After Drinking Cold Drinks?
58 y/o male drinks cold liquids gets this pain just below mid sternum. Also acquires bile taste in mouth in mouth. Protonix b.i.d doesn t help at all. Food doesn t seem to bother him. Pain is intense. Suggestions appreciated. Has appt. With GI dr. Monday.

May be having gastritis,if you drink cold or hot may irritate the Gastric ulcer and getting pain.
Try this medications it will cure gastritis and bile taste will go,
1,tab. Pan D 1 bid before food
2.Syrup.Sucralfate 10 ml tid for 5 days and review.
