What Causes Mild Pain In The Testicles?

Hello, I'm a 19 year old male and I'm going in for a physical exam next week. I have a couple questions regarding what will go on in certain situations. I've had a physical before so I know what to expect. Here's my question: I have two questions for my doctor performing the exam, one; I have an occasional mild pain in my left testicle, it doesn't happen very often but maybe every couple of days or so, what could be wrong? My other question is this, I have a lump on my sphincter that comes and goes as it pleases, and it doesn't hurt. What could it be?

Also, what kind of examinations would I expect after asking those questions?

1.The physical examination will go through normal as i feel by going through your symptoms and history.
2.But on and off this symptoms are possibly due to inflammatory changes in the testis epididymis.
3.So get an appointment and get the things evaluated, and cause for the symptoms.
4.Request for an ultrasound scan of scrotum - that will give details of testis and its blood supply and parenchymal changes. Epididymis and its status and any fluid in the sac, chord and vascular condition can be evaluated.
5.In that way you may get a course of antibiotic treatment or assurance that there is nothing wrong and your mental condition also will be in peace. Good luck.
