What Causes Mild Pain In The Throat?

Hi, Had laproscopic removal of gallbladder two weeks ago. After reaching the ICU, I found my throat sort of choked for breath. Have been having a linear, two inch spot of mild pain just after the frontal bone on just the left of the central line. It has been there for the last week. There was also a similar spot of two inches in the spinal cord, now it is replaced by some uneasiness in the right shoulder and just of the atlas and axis bones. I feel like there is a vein or nerve blocked in the head--that is how I can interpret the cause of the constant mild pain.

Hi.
I have read the history of gall bladder removal 2 weeks ago, now have a pain in the throat as you have mentioned and pain in the upper neck and hte right shoulder. This all started after the surgery and shifting to ICU.

This is the history which is indicative of some inadvertent trauma to the inside of the throat and the neck muscles, as happens inadvertently during intubation or extubation.
Do not worry, your Doctors must have already examined and you must be on appropriate medicines for this too.
Till you get alright take soft liquid diet and take rest as the movements can cause the muscles spasm and increase the pains.
