What Causes Mild Pain Under Right Side Of Rib Cage And Abdominal Bloating?

I have dull pain is under my rib cage on my right hand side . I feel bloated and have had a lot gas. I m just getting over bronchitis. Sometimes during the day I feel faint like I m going to pass out . Then it s seems to go away and then it comes back. Is this a gallbladder issue?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have mild pain under right side of rib cage and abdominal bloating. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like liver damage , gallbladder disease due to inflammation of the gallbladder, most often, due to gallstones , Crohn's disease or ulcer. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound , stool test or endoscopy . Doctor may prescribe anaspas , omeprazole along with anti inflammatory. Doctor may also recommend laproscopic surgery for gallstone problem . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain , take proper rest and take healthy diet .
