What Causes Mild Pink Spotting, Cramping And Pain Above The Pubic Hair Line?

Can you be pregnant after negative blood test? I got my last period on May 17, on June 9 I spotted brown then a little pink for one day along with the spotting I had cramping that preceded for 2 weeks after the june 9 spotting. 4 days ago I started having this weird pain above my pubic hair line, it s worse when I lay down. It radiates to my lower back it s very uncomfortable. My dr did a blood test friday and it was negative. What else could this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If the blood test was negative, it is unlikely your symptoms are due to pregnancy. I would recommend a gynecological visit to rule out infection as the cause of the pain and also a trans-vaginal ultrasound to rule out structural pelvic lesions.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
