Hi

Swelling around the clitoris in a child can occur due to mild vaginal infection.vaginal swelling due to irritation, cyst or abscess could be the cause. Any foul smelling discharge should be noted. A direct clinical examination may be required for diagnosis. A course of antibiotics may be required to identify the cause. Maintenance of vaginal hygiene is required to prevent further infections.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
