What Causes Mild Vaginal Bleeding During Early Pregnancy?
Hi Doctor, I am pregnant maybe one or two months, I have bleeding red in my Vagina , some times I have pain and the bleeding is coming very slow. Please Advise me what to do. I did ultrasound, and the medical doctor told me that I haven t seen something there, but when I have checked the with simple tube, I am pregnant.
Vaginal bleeding in the first three months of pregnancy must be evaluated with caution as it can be a sign of threatened abortion.
Consult a gynecologist at the earliest and plan for an ultrasound scan. Once the threatened abortion is confirmed, you might require drugs like susten (progesterone). As of drink plenty of water and take bed rest.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
