What Causes Mild Vaginal Bleeding With Clots During Menstruation?

Hi. My period hasn t been normal. It was on for 1 or 2 days, it was very little flow. Now, I m not sure how to explain, but now I notice small clots of an orange/red color. I m a bit concerned. I don t know if I m overthinking I d like to know. Thanks.

Understand your concern.
Following are the cause of your problem:
1. Peri menopausal state
2. Hormonal imbalance
3. Excessive stress
4. Change in life style
5. Excessive alcohol and caffeine
6. Excessive exercise
5. Drugs: Birth control pills, thyroid medication
6. Thyroid problem
7. Endometriosis
8. Atrophic vaginitis/cervix

Test your hormone profile- Estrogen, Progesteron, FSH, LH, HCG and thyroid profile
If necessary do USG.


Take following advice
1.Limit caffeine, salt and nicotine from a few days before your period until two weeks after it
2. Healthy lifestyle
3 Stretching and regular exercise routines will reduce cramping and menstrual pain.
4. Yoga can be extremely helpful to reduce both the physical and mental symptoms
5. Massage can also help both physical and emotional symptoms. also relieve depression, anxiety and panic attacks.
6. Hot baths help with cramping, back pain and relaxation.
7. Sleep of at least 8 hours

Maintain hygiene like below:
1. Keeping The Vagina Dry (Not wet, clean well)
2. Wear pure cotton Loose underwear
