What Causes Milky Vaginal Discharge, Stomach Cramps Followed By Heavy Bleeding?

I started depo back in 2013 after a miscarriage. I never got my next shot in Feb of 2015. I have been off for 4 months. While on depo I bled everyday lightly. In April I had a couple over flows. Then April 27th I stopped bleeding and had lots of sex. May 3rd I had white milky discharge and cramps the 5th and 6th. Had sex the 7th and took a test it was negative. I took another test the 10th and it was negative. May 13th I started bleeding and its red and I m still bleeding and I ve overflowed 3 times. Once with a tampon but only one side had blood. A pad but the back half while I was sleeping and a tampon again today but it was covered. Could this be implantation bleeding or a period ?? I had light soreness in the breasts and thought they were getting darker but I don t see it now. I might be maybe 2-4 weeks pregnant if I am. I m not sure.

Hi,

I understand your concerns.

If you got testing on 10th and started bleeding on 13th of May, then, you are not pregnant. The bleeding is due to your periods.

Light soreness in the breasts is also normal prior to periods, so it will not conclude a pregnancy.

Milky discharge might be due to:
- if you had unprotected sex, it might be the semen going off your body
- possible vaginal infection (whether fungal or bacterial).

I advise to keep a good genital hygiene, avoid unprotected sex with multiple partners and apply clotrimazole cream vaginally.
