What Causes Missed Period Along With Back Pain?

hi my name is Sandra I have premenstrual syndrome for the last year and now I haven t had my period since October 9 and that is not normal for me at all, experiences of back pain and sick to my stomach in am and night time ,I have had my tubes tied so what could this be?

Hello Sandra and welcome.

Your symptoms do depict a hormonal imbalance and in my opinion the cause could be any of the following: medications, stress, surgical procedures, birth control, early onset of menopause, etc. But the only cause that could possibly be the factor in your case with the given information is the tubal ligation.

Some women experience somewhat of a hormonal imbalance after this procedure and this could very well be the cause, but has to be confirmed or ruled out. Please do visit your treating doctor and ask for a more detailed discussion on the topic.
