What Causes Missed Period Along With Elevated Body Temperature And Distended Abdomen?

Hi, I am 43 and this month I missed my period for the first time. 2 pregnancy tests came back negative. I have elevated basal body temperature especially at night, but my worse symptom is a distended belly. Also I had palpitations but those are gone. What could this be?

Hello,

If the pregnancy tests are negative then there is no probability of pregnancy because they are highly accurate. You probably are on pre-menopause and this is the reason for delay.

Hi,

Get an oestrogen and progestrone challenge test and USG to rule out PCOD after ruling out the probable cause hormone therapy is advised to regularise your periods.
