What Causes Missed Period And Heavy White Vaginal Discharge?
Hey. I have been expecting my period for the past few weeks. I came off Yasmin in July. Had my period the 5th of August but haven t had one since September. I am feeling cramps which are light, I only feel for chocolate like when my period is near. I am having heavy discharge which is white. No smell. Not sure what to do or think:(

Your white discharge and delay in menses seem to be two different pathologies.
Since you have missed your period in spite of Yasmin, it is advisable to get pregnancy test done on the overnight first morning urine sample to rule out pregnancy. Late starting of birth control pills (later than day 2 of menses) or irregularity in their consumption may cause failure in their action. If you are not pregnant, you may take Tab. Deviry for 5 days and you should get withdrawal bleeding within 4-7 days. If still you do not get it, please report to your Gynaecologist.
Copious white discharge seems to be due to some infection of vagina. If it is greenish frothy discharge, it is due to Trichomonal infestation. It can be treated by Metronidazole. Fungal infection causes curdy while discharge and can be treated by antifungal ovules and vaginal Lactobacilli ovules. Both these infections cause immense itching. Mucoid or pus like discharge is due to bacterial infection which should be treated by antibiotics.
Please report to your Gynaecologist for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
These vaginal infections are sexually transmitted; hence to avoid recurrence, both the sexual partners should get treated simultaneously and should observe sexual abstinence till declared completely cured.
