What Causes Missed Period And Sore Nipples Post Ablation Procedure?

Hello Dr. I had an ablation and a tubal about 6 months ago and my nipples are very sore. I have not had a period since then so i have no idea if i am missing one or not. I took a HPT today and it was negative. i am almost 45 years old and was wondering if this could be possible signs of menopause starting.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Go for an ultrasound and check hormones levels once. Rule out these things. The most important aspects are lifestyle and immune system. Learn yoga and breathing exercises class. It will help in organic or other causes too. Menopause usually comes after 49.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
