What Causes Missed Period Despite Having A Negative UPT?

Hey m of 19 n my gf is of 18 n we got physical relation between us....after this my gf not able to get mensuration in monthly days....n,we also check that if she is pregnant or not but the prega sure reports that she is negative so plzzz help me,we,both r in h a huge problem......

Hallow Dear,

It seems from your narration that the intercourse you had was unprotected intercourse and that is why you are so worried about pregnancy.

Prega sure test you have performed has reported negative. It is a pregnancy test on urine. The question is when this test was performed. This test gives reliable report after about a week of the missed period. Done earlier it may report false negative.

I would advise you to repeat this test on the overnight first morning urine sample after a week of the missed period. If still the results are negative, she is not pregnant.

Alternatively she may opt for Beta hCG test on the blood. Values 25mIU/ml are diagnostic of pregnancy. This is highly sensitive and very reliable test.

If she is pregnant, you have an option of medical termination of pregnancy by medicines upto 9 weeks of gestation.

If she is not pregnant, you may give her some progestational preparation like Deviry for 5 days; then she would get withdrawal bleeding within 4-7 days.

Please get rid of the stress. It is also known to delay the menses.
