What Causes Missed Period Despite Having Contraceptive Pill Post Unprotected Sex?

During an unprotected sex I feared ejacuating inside, therefore my gf took a pill within 24 hours. After that we had sex twice, but did not ejacuated. Now it has been 2 days that she missed her date and we are crazy tensed about it. Can anyone help me to know if this is the side affect of the pill or something ?

I really appreciate your concern, as long as the contraception is concern nothing is hundred per cent promising so in case of unprotective coitus better to get done the pregnancy test, some time such miss period could be due to hormone medicine, hope this information helps, take care.
