General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Daphne pills contain progestogen. Menstrual irregularities such as spotting, breakthrough bleeding or menorrhagia are not uncommon with progestogen containing contraceptive pills.

The majority of these adverse reactions are mild and generally vanish in a few weeks. Please consult your gynaecologist if your symptoms continue or worsen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
