What Causes Missed Periods After A Miscarriage?

I just wanted to know if taking Primolut can do harm .
Last september I didnt get my periods for 2 mths and my doctor advised to take primolut, which i did. and then before getting my mens, i got pregnant. evryfing was normal for the 1s month. then i lost the baby in early january. i did test and all seemed well.
And now after some 5 months of trying, i am unable to conceive. also i did not get my periods for the month of july and i am not pregnant.
that's y i was wondering if the medication had a role to play.
